Global Inkjet Systems (GIS) provides the components for a complete industrial inkjet Operating System - high performance RIP software, printer drivers and electronics.

We support a wide range of printheads including FUJIFILM Dimatix, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Toshiba Tec and Xaar - and the capability to drive new printheads is being developed all the time.

Our core technology is the Print Manager Board. The PMB enables a standard PC to drive multiple industrial inkjet printheads via USB 2.0 in single pass, XY scanning and custom systems. Each PMB will drive any mixture of supported printheads with printhead specific Head Personality Boards.

The GIS uniti^TM Operating System is designed for all customers wanting a comprehensive solution so that they can shorten new product development time. It includes the GIS variable data RIP, printhead driver software, GIS Print Manager Board and GIS Head Personality Boards.

The GIS puriti^TM Operating System is designed for customers who want to develop their own low level custom datapath controllers and is only suitable for established and experienced inkjet players.

GIS has announced the development of their head personality board for the new Konica Minolta 1024i series printheads.

30 August 2011 - GIS Launches Drive Electronics for Toshiba Tec CF1 Printheads

The new board provides a direct link between the GIS Print Manager Board (PMB) and the CF1 printhead and is able to drive up to 4 printheads from a single board, enabling compact system designs.
