Meet the GIS Executive Team
In November 2006, co-founders Nick Geddes and Jim Brotton established Global Inkjet Systems (GIS) to offer inkjet printhead drive support via a comprehensive operating system, high performance RIP software, printhead drivers and electronics.
From a small initial start-up, the company has expanded to establish a truly international organisation that now employs over 60 people. Located in the heart of the Cambridge UK inkjet cluster, the first office was at St John’s Innovation Centre and now, several relocations later, GIS has its headquarters at Edinburgh House – part of St John’s Innovation Park (www.sjip.co.uk)
In 2015, GIS expanded its product portfolio to include ink system components and launched the GIS Atlas Interface and Server. Now in business for over 10 years, GIS continues to invest in R&D – the company’s passion to develop new capabilities to drive printheads continues apace.
