    Following a decade of industrial inkjet innovation, ongoing expansion and continued growth, GIS has moved to new headquarters within St John’s Innovation Park in Cambridge, UK. 

    Founded in 2006, GIS now employs over 50 people.  The company started with one office at St John’s Innovation Centre, occupying additional offices as it grew, and then relocated to The Jeffrey’s Building following global expansion in 2012.

    Global Inkjet Systems (GIS) has doubled its production facilities following the company’s continued strong growth, building on 10 years of successful inkjet innovation.

    Staying as part of the enterprising Cambridge inkjet community, GIS has moved its production department to larger premises at Edinburgh House in St John’s Innovation Park, increasing production and test space with capacity for further expansion.

    The GIS ink system components range comprises electronics, software and a portfolio of customisable header tanks and peripherals. Initially the products were available only to customers who were already using GIS printhead drive electronics and software. Now any inkjet system developer can have access to the IDS components product range.
