GIS has a number of PCB products which are initially
designed/developed in-house before being manufactured
externally. All of these stages require the contribution of
an enthusiastic and flexible electronics technician or
junior electronics engineer.
The ideal candidate should have an electronics engineering
qualification coupled to excellent practical skills.
Your role would include
-
electronics and some mechanical
design
-
bread-boarding
-
testing
-
component and product procurement
-
product and system fault diagnosis
and repair both in-house and on-site
-
travel to customer sites both UK
and abroad (mainly Europe at present)
