GIS Head Personality Boards are designed to provide communications between specific printheads and the GIS Print Manager Boards (PMB-C8/PMB-C2). They enable access to all standard printhead settings and are specifically designed for use with GIS software products.
GIS supports a wide range of printheads including FUJIFILM Dimatix, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Toshiba Tec and Xaar. The capability to drive new printheads is being developed all the time, so if you do not find information on the web site about the printhead you need, please contact us to discuss.

FUJIFILM Dimatix

The HPB-FD-W4D4 Head Personality Board & HIB-FD-AMP4 Head Interface Board for FUJIFILM Dimatix drive S-Class (SL, SM, SE); Galaxy; Nova; Q-Class Polaris; Q-Class Sapphire & Emerald printheads.

Konica Minolta

GIS offers Head Personality Boards for Konica Minolta 512 and 1024 printheads (the HPB-KM-512 and HPB-KM-1024) and a Head Interface Board (HIB-KM-1024i) for the Konica Minolta 1024i printhead.  The GIS Head Personality Boards connect to the Konica Minolta ICB. The GIS Head Interface Board for the KM1024i printhead provides a direct connection to the printhead.

Kyocera

The HPB-KY-2656 Head Personality Board for Kyocera has been designed to drive the KJ4A/B aqueous and UV printheads from Kyocera at full duty cycle.

Toshiba Tec

The HIB-TT-636 Head Interface Board is specially designed with a small form factor and is capable of driving up to four Toshiba Tec CF1 printheads from a single board.

Xaar

GIS has two Head Personality Boards options for Xaar printheads. The HPB-XR-C4 provides communication between the GIS Print Manager Board and the Xaar Head Personality Card. The HIB-XR-1001 Head Interface Board provides communication between the GIS Print Manager Board and the Xaar 1001, without requiring the Xaar Head Personality Card.
